  • The satisfaction in preventing serious disease in pets: Although it can seem redundant, every time you help vaccinate a puppy against parvovirus you are preventing that puppy from experiencing the agony of an extreme and often fatal illness. This is just one small example of the multitude of preventive steps we take to improve the health of pets!
  • The fulfillment in helping sick and injured pets:  Knowing you played a role in saving a pet’s life is one of the most rewarding parts of working in veterinary medicine.
  • The variety:  From a newborn kitten to a senior Great Dane, our patients come in different sizes, species, colors, and personalities along with a huge variation in conditions. No two patients, and no two days are ever the same!
  • The challenges: Sometimes our patients try to bite, sometimes our clients are working with limited financial resources, and sometimes our patients are not going to get better. These are just a few of the challenges we face on a regular basis, and we are continually finding ways to work within these challenges, finding solutions when we can, and accepting the reality when we can’t.
  • 100% drama free! Don’t enjoy office gossip, bullying, snarky comments, foul language, or petty squabbles? Neither do we and we don’t allow these things in our work culture.
